Skate Your Way

Hockey New Brunswick welcomes you back to the Skate Your Way program for the 2026-2027 season.

The Skate Your Way Program is a bi-weekly, 10 session hockey program designed for children aged 5-18 who would identify as neurodiverse and do not already play organized minor hockey.

Since launching in 2023, the goal has always been simple: come out, have fun, meet new people and enjoy the game of hockey- YOUR WAY. Whether you are skating with pushers, chairs, Skateez or just a helping hand, SKATE YOUR WAY celebrates each participant’s unique journey on the ice.

Over the past four seasons, we’ve welcomed more than 100 participants across Dieppe, Fredericton, Quispamsis and Miramichi.

We are proud to partner with the future leaders in sport and education. Over the past few season, program development and facilitation has been supported by:

-              MVHS High School Hockey Class

-              Oromocto High School Hockey Class

-              University of Moncton Adaptive Physical Education Class

-              University of New Brunswick Kinesiology and Recreation Students

-              And many local hockey teams and clubs from all over the province of New Brunswick
