The purpose of this policy/position paper is to identify the changes needed within Minor Associations to increase registrations for female players onto all Female teams.   The long term goal is to have females on all Female Teams.

As we move to full acceptance and implementation of the Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) Model it will be apparent the growth and development of a female player occurs at a different rate than the male hockey player.
