Please be advised a new Hockey Canada Bulletin has been created.
The following minimum suspensions are not to be reduced; Branches, Association and Leagues may strengthen any of the listed offenses at their discretion.
“The thing to remember is nothing in the rule changes takes effect until after this hockey season. No changes – the playing rules take effect following this hockey season (2009-2010). Next year. The two minimum suspension guidelines take effect for Minor and Senior and Female championship play, national and regional play, this year. For the rest of hockey they do not take place until September next year. “
