Saint John, NB – Hockey Canada’s Atlantic Regional Centre will be hosting a NCCP High Performance I (formerly Advanced I) Seminar which will be held from July 19th-24th in Antigonish, NS on the campus of St. Francis Xavier University.
In an effort to continue to provide a wider range of professional development for interested and qualified coaches, this seminar will be combining coaching education and an athlete development camp.

SAINT JOHN, NB – Fourty-Four of Atlantic Canada’s best young male hockey players have been invited to attend the Team Atlantic Under 17 Summer Evaluation Camp, which will run from July 11th-15th, 2010 at Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia.
Of the fourty-four, twenty-two players will be selected over the coming months to be part of Team Atlantic which will compete in the 2011 World Under 17 Hockey Challenge in Winnipeg, Manitoba from December 29th, 2010 - January 4th, 2011. Team Atlantic will be joined at the event by four other Canadian Regional Teams and five International Teams.

The first Atlantic Canada Sledge Hockey Development Camp is designed to provide a development opportunity to sledge hockey players in Atlantic Canada. Able-bodied hockey and sledge hockey coaches can also take part in on and off ice events. Participants should come out of this camp equipped with new on and off ice skills that they can take back to their clubs and teams and build upon throughout the 2010-11 season and beyond.
Hockey Canada, Hockey New Brunswick, Hockey Nova Scotia and Hockey PEI have partnered on this event and encourage all sledge hockey players in the region to attend.

Representatives from the International Ice Hockey Federation, Hockey Canada, USA Hockey, National Hockey League, Canadian Hockey League and interested public to gather in Toronto to discuss ways to improve the game at all levels
Toronto, ON, June 1, 2010 – Today, the global leaders of hockey convened in Toronto to announce details of the upcoming Molson Canadian World Hockey Summit, a three-day event to be held in Toronto, from August 23-26, to dissect the current state of hockey and collaboratively identify and address key concerns and issues facing the game today as well as opportunities to further grow and develop the sport.
