HIGH FIVE Sport workshop

New Brunswick’s Department of Wellness, Culture and Sport with Recreation NB, Coach NB, and Sport NB have come together to offer a HIGH FIVE® Sport workshop and training day.  The event will take place on Monday March 19th 2012 at the New Maryland Centre (754 New Maryland Highway).  The cost is $25.00 plus HST (which will include a lunch and your High Five® workbook)

Podium Performance Series

Fredericton, NB – The Canadian Sport Centre Atlantic, in conjunction with Coach NB, are pleased to present their Podium Performance session on The Basics on Concussions by Geoff Mabey, a certified Athletic Therapist with Max Health Institute Quartermaine Sport Medicine Clinic. Geoff has been an athletic therapist since 1999 and has experience working with high performance athletes from Hockey Canada, the AHL, and Canada Basketball.

Grand Manan

The Grand Manan Peewee C Islanders played an historic first Home Southern New Brunswick Minor hockey league game in the Peter Landers Peewee C divison against the KV Peewee C Capitals on Saturday January 14th in front of a crowd in excess of 250 fans. The Islanders came out ahead winning 4-3.
