Hometown Hockey Hero

CBC News New Brunswick at Five in collaboration with Hockey New Brunswick will once again feature its Hometown Hockey Hero segment between 5:00 – 5:30 p.m. weekdays.

The Hockey Heroes segment will be featuring local hockey stars (up to age 16) each day on the show. A new Hometown Hockey Heroes webpage (which is still in development) will be featured as a link on both the CBC and Hockey New Brunswick websites where you can view all of the New Brunswick Hockey Heroes.  All photos will be uploaded to the webpage, and we’ll randomly select the hometown hockey hero to appear on CBC News New Brunswick at Five.

In order to participate here's the information we need about each player:

• Name
• Age
• Hometown
• Team
• Position
• A photo of the player in their team uniform

Below is an example of the player’s card that CBC News New Brunswick at Five host, Terry Seguin will feature each night on the show.

When applying for the program please include your email address so that you can be contacted in advance to let you know when your star’s hockey card will be featured.
