Coaches seminar

Fredericton, New Brunswick

Hockey New Brunswick will be hosting a Coaches Seminar on August 12th and 13th at the University of New Brunswick. The Seminar will be run in conjunction with the Male U15 Hockey Development Festival. The HNB Coaches Seminar is intended to provide minor hockey coaches with resources, personal development, and networking opportunities. The two-day seminar will take place at the Wu Conference Center on the UNB Fredericton campus.

This event is open to all coaches of all levels. Presentations will be in the areas of skill development, sport psychology, team tactics, and player management. The seminar will also include an on ice session that will teach coaches to run a more efficient practice and demonstrate new drills and techniques.

Presenters for the seminar include:

Corey McNabb, Director of Player Development, Hockey Canada

Dr. David Scott, University of New Brunswick

Tom Coolen, Former NHL Assistant Coach, Olympic Coach

More presentations will be added in the coming weeks.

The Seminar will begin at 6:00pm on Friday, August 12th and conclude at 3:30pm on Saturday, August 13th.
