MU16 CWG Male team prep for Prince George

Press Release – Hockey New Brunswick Male U16 Team Heading to Prince George for 2015 Canada Winter Games.

Moncton, NB – The Hockey New Brunswick Male U16 Team will begin its quest for gold on Friday February 20th in Moncton, NB. The team will be practicing prior to leaving for Prince George on Saturday February 21st. The team will be competing in the 2015 Canada Winter Games from February 22nd – March 1st.

Team New Brunswick will start its round robin portion of the tournament on Sunday February 22nd when they will take on British Columbia at 7:30pm (PST). They will follow that game up with a game against Ontario on Monday February 23rd at 4:00pm (PST). Team New Brunswick will finish out the round robin portion of the event with a game against Manitoba on Tuesday February 24th at 4:00pm (PST).

The coaching staff have also announced the Captain and Assistant Captains for the event:

Assistant Captains – Mika Cyr, Peyton Hoyt, and Ethan Crossman

“Its been a long process, lots of time, effort, and preparation have been put in and we are looking forward to finally playing as Team New Brunswick. Our goal as a team is to contend for a medal but more than anything is to play up to our potential.
