THIRTY-FOUR GOALTENDERS INVITED TO 11TH ANNUAL PROGRAM OF EXCELLENCE GOALTENDING CAMP
CALGARY, Alta. – Hockey Canada’s national men’s team program has its sights set on next season, extending invitations to 34 goaltenders to its annual Program of Excellence Goaltending Camp – taking place June 9-12 at the Markin MacPhail Centre in Calgary.
The camp brings together some of best netminding talent in the nation with top Canadian instructors from across North America, and kicks off the evaluation period for summer development and selection camps at the under-17, under-18, and under-20 levels.

Seven new faces among list of invitees
CALGARY, Alta. – Canada’s National Women’s Program has invited the nation’s top goaltenders to its annual goaltending camp as part of the evaluation process for identifying the players who will be invited to the future National Women’s Team Programs.
This year’s goaltending camp runs June 2-5 at the Markin MacPhail Centre in Calgary, and features: eight netminders in the under-18 group – three of which took part last year; five goaltenders in the development group; and four international medallists with the national team group.

Female Under 13 Development Camp Now Available for Registration!
Hockey NB is excited to announce a new Female Under 13 Program. The new initiative stems from Hockey Canada’s “Project 2022” program that is preparing female athletes to compete for a position on Canada’s National Women’s Hockey team in the 2022 Olympics in Beijing, China.
The U13 program will run as an introduction to the High Performance Program and is open to any 2004, and 2005 born female player currently rostered on an HNB approved team. The camp will be run in conjunction with the Female U16 and Female U18 Hockey Development Festival.

HOCKEY CANADA RECOGNIZES VOLUNTEER CONTRIBUTIONS AT NATIONAL AWARDS BANQUET
MONCTON, N.B. – The love of the game of hockey is fostered in rinks of all sizes across the nation by passionate volunteers looking to instill that same passion for hockey to the next generation of Canadians.
It is that tireless dedication that was recognized by Hockey Canada on Friday at the organization’s Spring Congress in Moncton. Eight award-recipients were honoured, including four from the event’s host-province of New Brunswick.

Moncton (NB) - With the Provincial Championships complete in the Atlantic Provinces the Irving Oil Challenge Cup is set to take place this Thursday April 7-10 at the Kay Arena in Moncton, NB.
Attention: Female Bantam and Midget Age Players.
This is an identification camp to determine the interest and commitment for females in New Brunswick to play Female AAA Hockey for the 2016 – 2017 season. It is also an opportunity to provide feedback and input to assess potential changes to the current Female AAA structure in the province. We are reviewing the Female AAA Hockey Model in NB and we want to hear from you.
